My client, founded over 40 years ago is a hugely successful provider of cloud services within the travel industry and are seeking to appoint an HR Business Partner to lead and develop a team of 2 HR professionals & project manage HR programs based in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this role the incumbent will be challenged & encouraged with a high level of responsibility and be an important component to the overall success story and the expansion of the customer’s future business.

Role Description:

  • Ensure effective implementation of human resources practices closely engaging as a strategic business collaborator.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor you will make sure all business strategies translate into HR priorities, providing advice / coaching to staff an leadership
  • Conduct appropriate diagnosis and potential interventions.
  • Recognize issues and challenges that are interfering with the effectiveness of the individual´s or the organization´s performance and develop recommendations / and to solutions to solve them
  • Ensuring strategic HR topics
  • Ensure talent acquisition, retention & development including early identification of emerging talent
  • Ensure robust performance management disciplines including Sales Incentive Schemes
  • Help the management team to apply relevant and tested methodologies for the development of the organisation
  • Plan and implement necessary reorganisations of departments (incl. Communication plans, risk assessments, key people retention plans, individual and collective labour implications…)

 

Implementation of HR programs:

  • Employee Engagement – understand themes in the business unit and determine appropriate actions
  • Grading and corporate titles – support management team in the overall levelling
  • Global talent reviews – support management team in the process and method
  • Executive compensation plans – timely roll out of corporate ‘long term incentive’ cycles for the eligible population
  • Staff compensation plans – monitor spending and adherence to guidelines

 

Day to day HR support includes:

  • Identify staffing needs, coordinate recruitment processes and ensure delivery against qualitative and quantitative KPIs
  • Monitor compensation and benefits proposals (incl. Yearly process) and ensure internal equity and coherence within corporate guidelines
  • Ensure monthly payroll process
  • Support mobility of key resources (for project or line roles)
  • Identify and resolve key training and development needs Legal & Employee Relations
  • Assists leaders and employees in dealing with issues and concerns including policy interpretation, investigations and compliance
  • Ensure legal requirements are met

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, Business or related fields
  • Advanced degree in Organization Development, HR Management, Industrial Relations, or related field a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role including HRBP role for senior management
  • Specific experience in organizational development, talent acquisition / recruitment & talent management
  • Sound understanding of the German labor law and social legislation
  • Familiar with scaling up new functions and experience in supporting fast growing businesses
  • Project management experience in multinational HR projects
  • Experience with steering payroll process is a plus
  • PC skill: Advanced; Power Point and Excel
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Navision Dynamics is a plus
  • Knowledge in SAP HR is a plus
