Our client is a successful family led food company with over 2500 staff. Their product portfolio includes a variety of very popular and well recognised brands and they are now looking to hire a bright and ambitious Senior Brand Manager to support their Marketing Team. Looking after one of their most popular products and leading a team of 2 you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director Marketing. Your main responsibilities will be:


Key responsibilities:             

  • Support the development and implementation of the brand strategy
  • Develop, recommend and run communication projects for classic media and special projects
  • Lead and realise BTL measures (launch support, promotions, sampling)
  • Development and implementation of operational marketing mix activities
  • Compilation of annual advertising planning (A&P) and interim checks of output and enhancement of budget planning files
  • Lead innovation and relaunch projects
  • Support the development of annual and 3-year marketing plans
  • Identify growth potential, business opportunities and savings opportunities
  • Initiate and plan market research activities with internal and external partners
  • Presentation of brand activities to bodies and other departments within the company
  • Work closely with international departments on communal marketing strategies
  • Coach, develop and motivate other team members




In order to succeed in this exciting role you will need a degree in economics or a related subject and at least 5 years experience in a Marketing / Brand Management role within the FMCG sector. You should be a hands-on marketing professional who is able to control the whole Marketing Mix independently, lead projects and external partners. In addition to having a good understanding of brands and target groups, you will also need to be adept in using market research tools and draw meaningful conclusions out of data. Your communication and English language skills need to be excellent. Although being a strong and motivational team player, you will equally be able to lead and push back when required.
